Where does Safe4Motion provide moving services?
We serve Portland, Hillsboro, Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin, Lake Oswego, and Gresham in Oregon, plus Vancouver, Camas, and Battle Ground in Southwest Washington. Choose labor only or movers with a truck. Enter your move addresses and date to check the service options for your route.
What is included in the hourly rate?
Two professional movers, moving blankets and dollies for use during the job, and careful loading and unloading. Movers + truck includes the truck, with route mileage charged separately at $0.99 per mile. Packing labor uses the same hourly rate; boxes and supplies you keep are separate.
Do stairs or an elevator mean surprise fees?
They can affect the time and handling your move needs. Tell us about stairs, elevators, and the walk from the truck at both addresses so we can plan the access. There is no separate automatic stair surcharge.
When does the moving clock start?
Our local moving labor clock starts when the crew arrives at your pickup—not when we leave the office. Time working and driving between your move addresses is billable. Your written service terms explain the applicable minimum and mileage before you commit.
Can you help pack, too?
Yes. Tell us what needs packing in the planner. Packing and wrapping labor uses the agreed hourly rate. Blankets for use during the move are included; boxes, tape and other supplies you keep are separate.
Is the planner a guaranteed final bill?
No. Your local service minimum is the starting charge, not a fixed price for unlimited work. Additional time and applicable mileage are separate. Your actual scope and written service terms determine the final bill. Long-distance moves require a verified route and written estimate.
